“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”- Proverbs 29:10
A quick thought here. The Bible says “where there is no vision, the people perish.” As always, the Bible stays true to life!
God gives us wisdom, guidance, and direction from His word. He also inspires us with ideas for the future and what we need to do about it. Unless we have this vision, in a practical sense, then we will be unable to make a successful journey or progress since we would not even know where we are going.
No vision means no planning, no goals, no direction, and hence no proper organization, action, or effort to reach anything meaningful. So, let’s prayerfully plan, set goals, and have direction. Then we can get to work and accomplish something great for the cause of God!
Someone once said, “Vision without action is a daydream, Action without vision is a nightmare.” It rings so true! Vision, plans, goals must be set into action to succeed! However, taking action without the vision, plans, and goals will not accomplish too much in the way of greatness or success.
